1/2 cupsbutter or margarine, softened
2 cupssugar
8 eggs
40 ouncescrushed pineapple, drained
2 cupshoney ham, diced
3 tablespoonslemon juice
1/2 teaspoonsnutmeg
1/2 teaspoonscinnamon
10 slicesday-old white bread, cubed
1/2 cupsbutter or margarine, softened
honey, optional
2 cupssugar
8 eggs
40 ouncescrushed pineapple, drained
2 cupshoney ham, diced
3 tablespoonslemon juice
1/2 teaspoonsnutmeg
1/2 teaspoonscinnamon
10 slicesday-old white bread, cubed

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in pineapple, ham, and lemon juice. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Fold in the bread cubes. Pour mixture into a greased 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Bake uncovered at 325° for approximately 35 to 40 minutes or until set. Once out of the oven, cool for one minute and drizzle dish with honey.
