Quiche Lorraine

Qty Ingredient
1 9 inch pie shell
8 slicesbacon, cooked, crumbled
1 cupsshredded Swiss cheese
6 eggs
1 1/4 cupshalf & half or milk
1/2 teaspoonssalt
1/8 teaspoonsground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoonspepper

Directions:

  1. Prick bottom and sides of pie shell with fork. Bake in 450 degree F oven until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Cool, reduce oven temp. To 375 degrees F.
  2. Sprinkle bacon and cheese into pie shell. Beat together remaining ingredients until well blended. Pour over bacon and cheese. Bake 30-40 minutes.
  3. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
