Coconut Nut Pie

Qty Ingredient
4 Eggs
1 3/4 cupsSugar
1/2 cupFlour
1/4 cupButter
2 cupsMilk
1 1/2 cupsCoconut
1 teaspoonVanilla
1/2 cupPeanuts (crushed)
as desiredNutmeg

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in order given, except peanuts and nutmeg. Mix well.
  2. Pour into greased 10" pie pan. Sprinkle a little nutmeg and crushed peanuts on the top before baking
  3. Bake in 350 degrees oven for 45 minutes, or until golden brown. The middle will appear rather soft. Properly done, it will have a delicate crust over the top, sides and bottom. It will be solid enough to cut after it has cooled. The center will be a perfect cream pie.
