Andrea’s Chocolate Nut Tart

|1 1/4 cups||Nilla wafers, crushed|
|1/4 cups||granulated sugar|
|1 cups||light-colored corn syrup|
|1/2 cups||brown sugar, packed|
|1/2 cups||sliced almonds|
|1/3 cups||mini semisweet chocolate pieces|
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9-inch spring form pan with parchment paper. Do not grease.
- In a bowl, combine Nilla Wafers,⅓ cup butter, and granulated sugar. Pour mixture into prepared pan, and press mixture evenly over the bottom and sides of the pan.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs with a fork. Stir in corn syrup. Add brown sugar, ½ cup butter, and vanilla and stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in almonds and chocolate. Place prepared pan on a baking sheet. Carefully pour filling into pan and bake in a 350F oven for 40 minutes.
